Raanjhanaa

Raanjhanaa is a 2013 Indian romantic drama film, directed by Anand L. Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma. The film is produced by Krishika Lulla under the banner Eros International. It stars Dhanush, in his Bollywood debut, Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol in lead roles.  The film was released on 21 June 2013 worldwide while the dubbed Tamil version titled Ambikapathy was released a week later.  The dialogues for the Tamil version was written by John Mahendran.
The background score and songs were composed by A. R. Rahman. The Hindi lyrics of the tracks were penned by Irshad Kamil, whereas the Tamillyrics were written by Vairamuthu.
Within a week of release, the film's collections reached 349 million domestic nett.The film was declared a Hit by Box Office India.Post four weeks of its run, the film grossed over 704 million worldwide.

Kundan Shankar (Dhanush) is the son of a Hindu Tamil priest. Since his childhood days, Kundan has had a strong and obsessive one-sided love for Zoya Haider (played by Sonam Kapoor), a Muslim girl residing in Varanasi whose father is a professor. Though he sees her first as a child, Kundan is steadfast in his love for Zoya. He always attempts to be around her and hold her hand but gets slapped several times in the process. Zoya finally changes her mind because of Kundan's consistency of affection and attraction. Zoya's family is orthodox, preventing the lovers from being together. After Zoya moves to Aligarh for further studies, Kundan harmonises with Zoya's family, assisting them with various chores. Zoya gets into Jawaharlal Nehru University and discovers a long-lost strength as she confronts and then falls for student leader Akram Zaidi (Abhay Deol).

After a period of eight years, Zoya returns to Varanasi. She barely recognises Kundan when she meets him again. Kundan again attempts to ask Zoya for her love but she is reluctant, revealing that she is in love with Akram. Zoya then urges Kundan to convince her family about her marriage with Akram. Initially refusing because he still loves her, Kundan eventually agrees to it and sets about trying to convince Zoya's father of the match. Kundan gets the wedding of Zoya and Akram arranged. Kundan promises Zoya that he will also tie the knot with another girl and will forget her. Kundan proposes to his childhood friend Bindiya (Swara Bhaskar), who has had a crush on him since childhood.

On the day of their marriage, Kundan finds out that Akram is a Sikh, whose actual name is Jasjeet Singh Shergill. This enrages Kundan as Zoya had used their religious differences to convince him that their match was not possible. Kundan reveals everything to Zoya's parents thereby interrupting their marriage ceremony. Later, Kundan is informed by his friend that Zoya tried to commit suicide and is in a critical condition. He rushes to the hospital where he is also informed that Jasjeet was mercilessly beaten by Zoya's relatives. Kundan rushes to find him, along with his friend and Jasjeet's sister. At the hospital, Jasjeet talks to Kundan and says that despite Jasjeet's misgivings about the plan, Zoya convinced him to portray himself as Muslim to marry her, a plan he should not have agreed to as it was a lie. Kundan also forgets about his own marriage with Bindiya. For this reason, Kundan's family disowns him. Later, Jasjeet's parents take him back to his village. Kundan tries to redeem himself by taking Zoya to Jasjeet's village. However, he is devastated to find that Jasjeet has succumbed to his injuries, finally making Kundan understand that his one-sided love has resulted in an innocent man's death.

Kundan then becomes homeless and begins visiting various religious places and volunteering in their activities so that he can atone for his sins. During one such visit to the banks of Ganga, a man advises him to do the right thing rather than running away from his sins.
Motivated, Kundan locates Zoya to Jawahar Lal Nehru University, where she is spearheading the activities of the political party "All India Citizen Party" (AICP), created by Jasjeet. Kundan joins the nearby canteen and serves the people of the party, working at a tea-stall, all the while trying to get Zoya's attention. Over time, Kundan becomes popular among the party due to his simple nature. The party workers are impressed as Kundan also helps the party in negotiating some tough situations by using his simple yet witty tricks. Slowly, he emerges as a popular face of the party, disturbing Zoya. She holds a grudge that the person who is responsible for Jasjeet's death is now taking his place. She also tries to instigate party members against Kundan but Jasjeet's sister Rashmi (Shilpi Marwaha), who is also Zoya's best friend, tells Kundan to continue, as he is the best choice for fulfilling Jasjeet's vision.
Kundan, however, only wants Zoya to forgive him. His motive in being there, working for the party is to redeem himself in her eyes. The Chief Minister (Sujata Kumar) tells Zoya privately she must seek revenge on Kundan so as to take the place Jasjeet held for the AICP. To get back the position, she tells her to let Kundan get injured as he delivers his campaign speech for the party. Zoya apparently seems to get brainwashed by this plan and as the Chief Minister desired, Kundan is hurt badly and sent to ICU, thus fulfilling Zoya's revenge.

At a press meet following Kundan's injury, the chief minister denies having any hand in the blast that hurt Kundan. She says this can be confirmed by the fact that Zoya would now be joining their party. However, when Zoya steps forward, she reveals that the plan was plotted by her and the Chief Minister and that she is prepared to go to prison for this. Zoya leaves the press meet and finds out through a policeman that Kundan was aware of the plot and still let himself be injured. Shocked by this fact, she rushes to the hospital to be with Kundan.
In a final voice over, a dying Kundan wonders about letting go. He says he might have the desire to live again, if Zoya called out to him, but then again everything had become so tiring and he would rather let go and rest (euphemism for dying). He speaks of the nature of love that continues, by saying that he can be born again and again in the same Benaras with the same surroundings, fall in love with a girl like Zoya again, and become a Raanjhanaa with her love.

Raudy Baadsah

Baadshah (English: Emperor) (Arabic form of Persian Padishah - literally King of Kings) is a 2013 Telugu action-comedy film directed by Srinu Vaitla. The film was produced by Bandla Ganesh under his Parameswara Art Productions banner.It stars Jr. NTR and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles and is their second film together after Brindavanam. The soundtrack was composed by S. Thaman and this is his second cllaboration with Srinu Vaitla.Cinematography was handled by I Andrew, Jayanan Vincent, R D Rajasekhar and K V Guhan.The film was formally launched on March 18, 2012 in Hyderabad and shooting began on July 1, 2012 in Italy.The film is the most expensive film ever made in Telugu and it was released on April 5, 2013.[10] It is the only South Indian film to be screened at the Osaka Asian Film Festival 2014 in Japan.The film was also dubbed into Hindi under the title Rowdy Baadshah by Goldmines TeleFilms.

Sadhu Bhai (Kelly Dorji) is a notorious mafia leader who escaped India after various terrorist attacks and conquered the entire Southeast Asia. No one dares to challenge Sadhu Bhai. Baadshah (N. T. Rama Rao Jr.) enters the underworld for his father (Mukesh Rishi). In the opening scene, Sadhu Bhai's partner, Crazy Robert (Ashish Vidhyarthi), captures Baadshah and his father as Baadshah revolts against Sadhu Bhai. But Baadshah easily defeats Crazy Robert's goons. Baadshah tries to find a solution as the Indian police and Hong Kong police are looking for him.
The story cuts to Milan, Italy where Janaki (Kajal Agarwal) is a social worker who has just finished her interior designing course. She lives there with her uncle, Pilli Gopi Krishna Simha (Tanikella Bharani), and cousins, Inky and Pinky. She meets Baadshah alias Rama Rao when he acts as if he is attempting suicide (to get her attention) as his [fake, imaginary] girlfriend Saira Bhanu dumped him. Janaki, who is not aware of the truth, asks him to spend a day with her, in return she will give him a hope for life. Janaki introduces him to various people who attempted suicide but found hope for life through Janaki's inspiration, one of whom is Dasu (Vennela Kishore). Dasu is a slacker who got laid off. Janaki brought him to her place as she thought he was attempting suicide when he actually went towards a cliff to throw his empty beer bottle. Janaki introduces Rama Rao to Dasu and keeps him in her house. But Rama Rao immediately discovers Dasu's true nature and buys him off to help him in making Janaki fall in love with him.

Meanwhile Baadshah fights off Sadhu Bhai's henchman, Rakhi Rasul (Supreet Reddy), who comes looking for him. But one of Baadshah's right hand men  is killed by Crazy Robert when he refuses to give information about Baadshah. This is when Baadshah's past is revealed.
Dhanraj (Mukesh Rishi) works for Sadhu Bhai and runs a casino in Macau through which Sadhu Bhai gets half of his income. Although Sadhu Bhai is the most powerful underworld don, he was never able to conquer Hong Kong due to Violent Victor's (Pradeep Rawat) and his son Ruthless Johnny's (Ajaz Khan) control. When Dhanraj attempts to transfer the money from the casino to Sadhu Bhai through Hong Kong, Ruthless Johnny stops Dhanraj's henchmen and tries to steal the money. But Baadshah, Dhanraj's son, fends of Johnny's men. Impressed by his bravery and his fearlessness, Sadhu Bhai asks Baadshah to recover his henchmen Antony, who was kidnapped by Violent Victor. But unknown to Sadhu Bhai, it was Baadshah who kidnapped Antony. Baadshah demands control over Macau in return, to which Sadhu Bhai accepts. Baadshah uses this as an opportunity to attack Ruthless Johnny's place without suspicion from Sadhu Bhai, recover several flood victim children (with whom Ruthless Johnny planned to do illegal organ business), and kill Ruthless Johnny. Baadshah then hands over Antony to Sadhu Bhai as if he recovered him from Violent Victor.
But Violent Victor surrenders Hong Kong to Sadhu Bhai to seek his help in avenging his son's death. Although Sadhu Bhai initially disagrees, he accepts the offer when he finds out that Baadshah was behind Antony's kidnap and played a game with him to get Macau. It is then revealed that Baadshah's original intent on entering the mafia world was to defeat Sadhu Bhai and conquer his empire with the help of his uncle Ganesh (Adithya). Sadhu Bhai sends his men to kill Baadshah but his uncle Ganesh is killed instead in the process. Baadshah goes as far as killing Violent Victor and defeats all of his accomplices. Sadhu Bhai then joins forces with Crazy Robert, Violent Victor's brother. Ramchandar (Sayaji Shinde), IG of the Indian Police Service in Andhra Pradesh, finds out that Sadhu Bhai is shipping a container of RDX from Hong Kong to India, and sends a team headed by DIG Balram (Nagendra Babu) and ACP Aadi (Navdeep). In Hong Kong, DIG Balram attacks Sadhu Bhai's gang, but ACP Aadi betrays him, revealing that he works for Sadhu Bhai. The container is successfully transported to India. Baadshah is framed for DIG Balram's death. Crazy Robert then kidnaps Dhanraj and captures Baadshah. This was the opening scene of the movie. Baadshah finds out that he was framed for DIG Balram's death and speaks to Ramchandar. Baadshah tells him that ACP Aadi works for Sadhu Bhai. Ramchandar is convinced but finds it hard to convince the entire police department. He tells Baadshah that Janaki is engaged to Aadi and that they will be married in a few weeks. Ramchandar tells Baadshah to get close to Janaki, which was why Baadshah met her in Milan and the rest of the story is already known. But in the process Baadshah falls in love with Janaki.

Janaki accepts when Baadshah confesses his love. Janaki's uncle agrees to help them when Baadshah reminds him that he cheated Janaki's father by telling him that he is a police officer, when he is actually a Tollywood Co-ordinator in Italy. Janaki, Baadshah, Gopi Krishna Simha, Inky, Pinky, and Dasu travel to India.
Meanwhile, Sadhu Bhai plans several bomb blasts in all major cities in India with the RDX on the day of the WSIS in Hyderabad.
Baadshah enters Janaki's household by posing as a Wedding Planner. Janaki's household is headed by her father Pilli Jaya Krishna Simha (Nassar), a strict and disciplined Commissioner of the Indian Police Service in Andhra Pradesh. He expects all the men in the family to be disciplined police officers. But Padma Nabha Simha (Brahmanandam) is lazy; he becomes an inspector due to Jaya Krishna Simha's influence. Because of his nature, Padma Nabha Simha always gets admonished by Jaya Krishna Simha. Padma Nabha Simha always waits for a payback opportunity. Rama Rao uses this as an opportunity to trap Aadi and reach Sadhu Bhai.
When Rakhi Rasul and Crazy Robert enter the city to carry out the planned bomb blasts, Rama Rao goes with Padma Nabha Simha and fights the gang and kills Rakhi Rasul. But he makes it seem like Padma Nabha Simha had done the job making Padma Nabha Simha a media hero. The RDX is confiscated by the police.
But Rama Rao's mother finds out that Rama Rao is Baadshah. Although she is initially disgusted she finds out from Ramchandar why Rama Rao became Baadshah. Before Rama Rao entered the mafia, Rama Rao, his adoptive brother Siddhu (Siddharth), and his mother were living happily. But the day Rama Rao was to leave for US, his brother was killed in a bomb blast. Motivated by the intent to kill Sadhu Bhai, who was behind the blast, he applies for a position in the Indian Police Service. But he gets rejected because his father Dhanraj (whom Rama Rao thought was dead) was involved with the mafia, and no one with a criminal family history is allowed into the police department. But Ramchandar, impressed by Rama Rao's will, tells him that his father was a very talented financial advisor. But since he did not get sufficient recognition in the society, he started working for Sadhu Bhai. But when he asks his wife to follow him with Sadhu Bhai when he is about to leave India, she rejects and later creates as if she and Rama Rao died in an accident. She also tells Rama Rao in his childhood that his father is dead. Ramchandar allows him to go undercover with immunity and infiltrate the mafia to extract information for the police department under Operation Baadshah. Hence, Rama Rao joins the mafia and turns into Baadshah. His mother apologizes for not trusting him and Rama Rao reunites her with his reformed father.

Sadhu Bhai comes to Hyderabad and kills the police informer (Rajiv Kanakala) that notified the police of the RDX and Rakhi Rasul's location. He finds out from the dying informer that Baadshah and Ramchandar are behind Padma Nabha Simha and that Padma Nabha Simha is just a buffoon. Sadhu Bhai has Aadi kidnap Ramchandar and capture Padma Nabha Simha. Padma Nabha Simha reveals that Baadshah is Rama Rao and finds out that he had been used.
Sadhu Bhai then attempts to leave Hyderabad, but Baadshah intervenes. Ramchandar reveals that Baadshah alias Rama Rao has been appointed as the new Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), and that he was hired when he recovered the RDX and proved his worth. Baadshah fights off all of Sadhu Bhai's goons, and finally kills Sadhu Bhai, thus ending Operation Baadshah.

The movie ends on a happy note as he gets engaged to Janaki, and Jaya Krishna Simha is happy that another strong police officer is becoming part of his household.

Soutan

Souten is a 1983 Hindi-language Indian feature film directed by Sawan Kumar Tak, starring Rajesh Khanna, Padmini Kolhapure, Tina Munim, Prem Chopra and Pran. The film is a family drama. It was written by Kamleshwar, with music by Usha Khanna. The song "Shayad Meri Shaadi" became especially memorable.

Shyam is an ambitious man who meets Rukmini, the daughter of a millionaire, and falls in love with her. They get married despite strong opposition from Rukmani's family. Now Shyam wants to become a father, but Rukmani is not interested in becoming a mother; hence, the relationship between Shyam and Rukmini worsens. Shyam and Rukmini separate. Radha, daughter of Shyam's employee, brings a ray of hope into Shyam's life. What happens next forms the climax of the story.

Raja

Raja is an Indian Bollywood movie released on 22 June 1995, starring Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Mukesh Khanna and Dalip Tahil. The film was Sanjay Kapoor's second film after his debut Prem with Tabu in Bollywood. Prem was a flop, but this film, though penned by critics to have many flaws did excellent business in Bollywood. Its success was attributed to Madhuri Dixit because of her ardent fans. It was the fourth highest grosser of the year at the box office Madhuri Dixit received a Filmfare Best Actress Award nomination, and won the Star Screen Award Best Actress for the year.
Rana Mahendra Pratap Garewal (Mukesh Khanna) is a wealthy businessman along with his brother Vishwa (Dalip Tahil). They are good friends with Brijnath (Birju) (Paresh Rawal) who is initially very rich but loses all his wealth in a fire in his factory. The Garewal brothers had initially proposed the marriage of Rana's younger sister Madhu (Madhuri Dixit) and Brijnath's younger brother Raja (Sanjay Kapoor) (both are young; their brothers are adults). They break the marriage off. Shocked and saddened at the rejection by his best friends, Birju goes mad and gets electrocuted by accident. Raja then stays in the city outskirts with his brother taking care of him by doing petty jobs.

After many years, Madhu meets Raja and falls in love. After Raja reveals that he is the same childhood Raja, their love deepens. Rana and Vishwa soon find out and are determined to keep Madhu away from Raja. They continually humiliate and insult Raja, beating him up and forcing him to walk on broken glass to prove his love. One day Madhu runs away with Raja. Eventually, Rana pretends to give in and accept Raja into the family. When Raja leaves the city for a few days, Rana invites Birju to stay at the Garewal mansion. While he is there, they have one of their assistants dress up like Birju and break into Madhu's room at night and pretend to attempt to rape her. Madhu duly screams that Birju is trying to rape her. The assistant quickly escapes; the room is only dimly lit before Madhu can see his face. Rana and Vishwa call a mental hospital and force Birju into it as a prisoner in all but name. Raja is now forced to choose between believing Madhu's and Birju's words. He chooses to believe his brother's protestations of innocence and breaks up with Madhu. However, he still deeply loves her, and it is now up to him to dig for the truth and figure out what happened to Madhu on that fateful night.

In the end, Raja gets a hold of the assistant who dressed up as Birju and extract a confession from him. In the process he has an accident and is critically injured. Birju goes to Madhu asking her to save him but she insults him. Rana's wife (Rita Bhaduri) tells the truth to Madhu. Madhu is so shocked to hear that her own brothers set up her rape that she leaves them and is on the verge of going to Raja's house. Rana realises his mistake and begs forgiveness, but Vishwa doesn't accept and starts beating Madhu and Rana. Raja comes and saves everyone. He marries Madhu in front of everybody. In the final scene, Rana and Vishwa come to Raja's house and beg the trio for forgiveness. They forgive the brothers on the condition that they bless the marriage of Raja and Madhu.

Coolie

A wealthy, but evil man named Zafar Khan (Kader Khan), has fallen in love with a girl named Salma (Waheeda Rahman) and wants to marry her, but she and her father do not let him. Zafar is arrested for various crimes and is imprisoned for 10 years, but when he is discharged, he sees that Salma is married to a good man named Aslam Khan (Satyendra Kapoor). Zafar Khan, wants to convince Salma to marry him but Salma refuses. Zafar plots his revenge by flooding the region in which Salma lives in, killing her father, injuring Aslam and Salma, causing her to lose her memory. During this catastrophe, Salma is also separated from her young son, Iqbal (Amitabh Bachchan). Zafar abducts Salma and tells the world she is his wife. He also adopts an infant from an orphanage in Kanpur, a boy named Sunny (Rishi Kapoor), for Salma to raise on the advice of a psychiatrist. Meanwhile, Iqbal is reunited with his uncle, who has lost his wife and son in the flood. The uncle will raise Iqbal as his own, as they have no more family.

Years pass, and Iqbal and his uncle work as coolies. Iqbal has grown up to a be a dashing, confident young man, and is considered the leader of the local coolies. He organizes a labor strike, which brings the station to its knees. Sunny, a young, budding reporter, is covering the story. While speaking to Sunny, Iqbal sees a picture of Sunny's mother who turns out to be Salma. Iqbal rushes to Salma's house to see her after all these years, but upon meeting her son, she has no recollection of him. Zafar is infuriated by Iqbal's trespass and has his guards severely beat him, while he takes Salma to the psychiatrist to administer electric shocks on her so that her memory never returns.

Iqbal and Sunny become friends, and both find love; Iqbal with a Christian girl Julie D'Costa (Rati Agnihotri) and Sunny with his childhood sweetheart, Deepa (Shoma Anand). Things are looking up, but the coolies uncover a banking and housing scandal against them. After a series of run-ins with the corrupt parties, Iqbal finds himself in a fight to the death with Zafar. Salma returns at a very pivotal scene in the film, during the election standoff between the communist workers under Iqbal and the capitalist lords under Zafar with her old memories intact and she publicly testifies against Zafar and how he destroyed her family. In the crowd is an old man, who turns out to be Iqbal's long-lost father Aslam. Also, Iqbal's uncle recognizes a birthmark on Sunny, proving that Sunny was indeed the son he thought he had lost in the great flood. The family is reunited, much to the fury of Zafar, who then proceeds to shoot Iqbal's beloved mamu (uncle) who cared for him in his youth. Iqbal and Sunny both chase after the evildoers, killing Mr. Puri and Vicky in the process, until Iqbal corners Zafar in a masjid. The holy shroud from the shrine flies onto Iqbal's chest, and Iqbal defiantly faces Zafar with the belief in God's protection from harm with His name on his chest. He is shot several times by Zafar, but he continues to chase Zafar up the minaret, saying a part of the shahada with each shot. With the last of his strength, he cries the takbir and pushes Zafar off the parapet, killing him instantly, and Iqbal collapses into his mother's arms. Coolies from all faiths pray hard for his recovery, and Iqbal recovers from his injuries.

Gambler

Raja (Dev Anand) has been abandoned by his biological mother at a very young age, and grows up with Master (Jeevan), a criminal don and card-sharp, who would like Raja to continue working with him on a commission basis. Raja learns all that could be learned about playing cards, quits work with Master, and starts work on his own. He succeeds considerably, and soon gets rich and wealthy. He falls in love with beautiful Chandra Gangaram (Zaheeda), and would like to marry her. But her father would like her to marry U.K. settled Ram Mehta(Sudhir), before Raja could do or say anything against this alliance, he is charged with the cold-blooded murder of Master. The climax in Raja's life is in the Court Room where he will find out about his past, and about his parents - while he awaits the outcome.

Swades-We the people

Swades: We, the People is a 2004 Indian film written, produced and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Gayatri Joshi in her first film. Although a failure at the Indian box office, it was successful overseas and received universal critical acclaim and a cult following from Indian and other South Asian audiences around the world.The film was featured on Rediff's list of the 10 Best Bollywood Films of the decade.It was later dubbed and released in Tamil under the title Desam.


Mohan Bhargava (Shah Rukh Khan) is a NRI working as a Project Manager at NASA. He had been a student at the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League school. After the death of his parents and twelve years in the US, he decides to return to his village, in India to find his nanny, Kaveri Amma (Kishori Balal), with whom he has lost touch. After visiting the Old-Age home where Kaveri Amma resided, he finds out through her friend, Kaveri Amma was taken to a village Charanpur. Along the way, he meets a number of interesting people; there's the village postmaster, eager to know more about e-mails and the Internet, while also having a keen hobby of wrestling; the ex-freedom fighter who teaches history at the local school and is a lone voice of reason amongst the village elders; there's also a cook who harbors ambitions of opening a dhaba on a US freeway, and sees in Mohan an opportunity to get a visa.

While Mohan soon adapts to life in the village and endears himself to its people, he also develops a cat and mouse romance with his childhood acquaintance Gita (Gayatri Joshi), who actually brought Kaveri Amma from the Old-Age Home to be with her and her brother, Chiku. Gradually he also encounters some of harsher aspects of the village; among them are poverty, caste discrimination, child marriage, illiteracy, child labor, a general disregard for education and an apathy to change. He tries in his own way to bring about some change, even succeeding to the point of dissuading the village elders from moving the local school to smaller and far-away premises. In doing this, he earns the respect of Gita, who also runs the local school.

One day Kaveri Amma sends him to a village called Kodi to collect dues from a farmer named Haridas who has rented Gita's land. Along the way, Mohan realizes that the problems he had seen in the village mirror those faced by almost all other villages in the country. Haridas, the farmer who owes rent, has no money to feed his own family, mainly because the villagers would not support his attempts at a change of occupation from weaving to farming. Mohan returns empty handed, but is full of a new sensitivity and perspective towards the harsh realities of rural India. This journey to Kodi and back proves to be the turning point in Mohan's life and he comes back with a resolve to improve the quality of life of the villagers.

He enlists the support of a few hundred men and guides them through the building of a reservoir beneath a perennial spring on a nearby hill. Buying turbines and other equipment with his own money, he sets up a small hydro-electric power plant that would solve the problem of irregular electricity and make the village self-sufficient.

By then, it's time for him to leave as his project at NASA is nearing its final stage. Kaveri Amma, whom he had intended to take along with him, refuses to come citing the difficulty of adapting to a new culture at such a late stage in her life. Gita, whom he had fallen in love with and who had fallen in love with him, also refuses to come with him, wanting to remain in the country and continue running the school that her parents had founded. He returns alone but feels a growing sense of responsibility towards his country and guilt for not being able to do much for the welfare of its people. He finishes his project at NASA before resigning and returning to India.
